2023 APWA Project of the Year Award
The Portage Zhang Senior Center has been awarded the Project of the Year Quality of Life award! This senior community center serves as a great recreational space for the community. AVB is proud to have been the construction manager on this amazing project. Congratulations to Charles and Lynn Zhang and the City of Portage on another well-deserved award.

Turning Stone: This home is feeling truly inspired by nature. The welcoming color scheme pulls together warm wood tones with a mix of creams and cooling grey and a pop of black accents. This home already feels welcoming and chic.
The Enclave: This Townhome is coming together beautifully! The custom tile is a stunning mix of marble, river rock, and ceramic with modern texture. The lighting fixtures add a surprising pop of black that feels very sophisticated.
The Ranch at Hidden Lake: The design details of this home can only be rivaled by the beautiful setting. It’s hard not to be taken by the view from the large windows that encompass this home set on almost 2 acres of wooded land.

Finishing Up Southern Flats
Finishing touches are being made as AVB is wrapping up Southern Flats in Coldwater, Michigan. Formally Gillespie's Funeral Home, Southern Flats consists of seven apartment units with many units containing original details from the original building, such as stained glass doors. Three units can be accessed through street-level entrances, four are accessed through a shared stairway entrance.

AVB on the Course with the Community
This month was full of golf outings! We kicked off June with the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo golf outing along with the Big Brothers Big Sisters golf outing. We wrapped up the month by attending the Mattawan Public Education Foundation golf outing, the Otsego Schools Boosters, and Schupan outings. We are very proud to be sponsors of these amazing organizations and loved getting out in the community to show our support!
