Factory Coffee is a local coffee shop with locations throughout Kalamazoo, including the Northside and within the People’s Food Co-Op. AVB was the proud construction management partner to help Factory Coffee expand its business into south downtown Kalamazoo near the Vine neighborhood.
This 1,700 SF build-out within 400 Rose Apartments included a full-service kitchen, barista bar, dine-in seating, as well as outdoor seating.
AVB had to closely coordinate with the owner to install all the owner-provided kitchen equipment, barista equipment, etc. to ensure the build stayed within budget. Additionally, the owners used several reclaimed items for interior doors and other finishes.
