AVB partnered with Hinman Company to build the seventh phase of Greenspire Apartments, Tall Timbers. This three-building, four-story, apartment complex will bring 180 new apartment units to the City of Portage, as well as a 147-space underground parking deck and an expansive common area. The owners have invested in design and construction aimed at achieving LEED Gold certification, a measurement of sustainability.
“The transformative and compelling Tall Timbers project is located on a transit line, is part of a growing and intense walkable mixed-use corridor, has a minimum 10% workforce housing component, and will be the first privately-owned, gold LEED certified development in our city’s history,” Portage City Manager Pat McGinnis said in a statement. Upon completion, the project will bring a previously vacant property back to productive use, adding vibrancy and density to the area.
