Consumers Credit Union Headquarters Spotlight
We recently wrapped up two additions at the Consumers Credit Union Headquarters at The Groves in Kalamazoo—both aimed at improving convenience and community on campus.
A new 99-space visitor parking structure provides accessible parking and was designed to fit in with the existing campus layout. Nearby, a sports court with two pickleball courts gives employees a place to take a break, get active, and spend time together during the day or after hours.
These updates support a better experience for both employees and visitors. With landscaping and architectural details that match the headquarters, the new spaces blend into the campus while adding new ways to connect and recharge.
Playa Bowls Joins Corner@Drake in Kalamazoo
This summer, we proudly welcomed Playa Bowls to our Corner@Drake development in Kalamazoo, joining a vibrant lineup of co-tenants like Trader Joe’s, Crumbl Cookies, and Condado Tacos. Founded in 2014 as a humble surfside stand in New Jersey, Playa Bowls has blossomed into a national sensation with over 300 locations offering acai, pitaya, and coconut bowls, smoothies, juices, and more. The Kalamazoo community showed up in full force for the grand opening on June 20, with lines out the door and rave reviews calling it their “favorite thing ever.” With a mission rooted in sustainability and community, Playa Bowls brings a fresh wave of flavor and energy to the Corner@Drake experience.
