Bogan Development chose AVB as its construction management team for its new workforce housing project off Frank Street in Kalamazoo’s Northside neighborhood. The project is located on a 1.4-acre former Brownfield site. This project is a commitment to elevating the local community by offering affordable housing
315 Frank Street helps address the need for housing in Kalamazoo, featuring 12 new housing units, two designed for people making 60% Area Median Income (AMI), six for 80% AMI, and five are market rate.
This new workforce housing was one element of a mixed-use development, Zone 32, that included a childcare center through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo. This center provides essential early childhood education services to 30 children daily, specifically targeting the 49007 zip code, recruiting children and educators from the local community.
