We are proud to have partnered with Consumers Credit Union to build their new 92,000 square foot headquarters. Completed in December 2017, this state-of-the-art facility raises the bar for office environments in Southwest Michigan. It includes a 300 car parking structure, which preserves much of the natural wooded surrounding, and features a 400 foot long x 42 foot tall glass south elevation that takes advantage of the 23 acre natural area surrounding the building. The complex design of the new building, both in terms of architecture and systems, made executing this project both challenging and fulfilling. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this new facility will have on the Consumers Credit Union team and the future development of more ergonomic work environments in our community.
The anticipation for Phase IV of our popular Kalamazoo condominium community, Walden Woods, is growing. Located off of Arboretum Parkway in the city of Kalamazoo, Walden Woods Phase IV will consist of both duplex and triplex style condominiums, starting from the high $200,000’s. Old National Bank’s new regional headquarters and banking center opened December 2017. Their new two story, 15,640 square foot facility includes a spacious lobby, private customer service areas on the main level, a mix of private and open offices on the second level, and a drive through. The new facility is anchored by a stone rotunda that is a defining landmark within Corner @ Drake. We are excited to see Old National Bank thrive in this new year! Located at the corner of Stadium Drive and Drake Road in Kalamazoo, the new Corner Shoppes @ Stadium is under construction. This 20,000 square foot addition is being constructed as multi-tenant space and will be attached to the existing 13,000 square foot Trader Joe’s. Neighboring tenants include Costco, Field & Stream, Old National Bank, Firehouse Subs, Orangetheory Fitness, Drake Road Tap House, SVS Vision, and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt. AVB is renovating the first and second floor of Western Michigan University’s Ernest Wilbur Building to create a functional space for the expansion of their Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.
